Day 9: Teachout Building

Teachout Building, E 5th and Locust.  I posted this because street art and murals are often removed as graffiti.  I felt it was ironic because the building is filled with art and design related businesses, as well as being next to an "Embrace Art" billboard, yet the street art(a painting of Des Moines' legend Smiley), has been removed.
